    There is not many applications included by default use the LastOS Apps Repository to get more before you burn a DVD9 (or carry them around on a USB disk as an extra or 2nd App Disk (ssWPI can make app disks for you with the apps it has available to it)).

    ssWPI has been entirly re-written to support the use of multiple categories and Meta Data, it uses a new theme system and operates much faster on SSD's than the old one.

    * Note * You must run ssWPI and pick Re(Scan) for items) to generate new local Databases or you will have to do this each time you boot your DVD, if your using a USB drive you can do this at any time and it will update the Databases with any new or removed apps.

    I have included IE9 + it's updates as it works correctly in Windows 7
    When you do a MS Update, do NOT install IE10 or the Optional Platform Update that IE10 requires, all other updates are fine to use/get.

    I didn't get enough time to fully test things, but as it's based on CosmOS v1's preset/design it should "hopefully" work just as well as it does, but be more up to date with a few new features and our newest tools.


I am still uploading the nVidia Notebook drivers (460mb) so the torrent will start out very slow, but I needs my sleep :P

Also if you need Office 2010 it's on your CosmOS v1 or v2 ISO's Appz folder... I did update my local copy, but figure most people have moved to LibreOffice now (or should be).

 I reduced the included drivers and manually added the updates until I only had IE10, MRT and the platform update (plus the 2 no one ever installs), so it should be nice and up to date, but may require you grab the Drivers from the repository or integrate them into the images yourself if you really want them to be automated during the install. The best features are still independent to the OS, with ssWPI & Settings offering the options (to be used on any Win 7/8/8.1 OS) but I needed to make myself an updated OS, so sharing that too helps promote the new ssOSModder tool, for those who would like to customize it (or any 7+ OS) themselves... I still need to document how to use it properly, but the included presets and the on screen help makes it easy enough to figure it out.

I think Win 8.1 will still not be suitable for mods and only really needs the post install tools, but if I find I need a mod I'll make one when it goes final, apart from that I've been very happy with win 7 and nothing about 8 makes me want to rush out and switch to it (on my non UEFI hardware anyway). A SSD for you win 7 is way more important than getting a win 8 license, makes them a LOT faster than win 8 ever will.

Finally, make sure to let me know if your unable to boot this on your hardware and if you could with CosmOS v1 or 2, because I have a Win 7 PE that you can copy on to the ISO/USB that will make it use the same PE as CosmOS v1 and 2 used, but it's updated to the 2013 version they released - also I want to find out how compatible the Win 8 PE actually is. Ask any questions I'll be checking in on this thread a few times a day and the more feedback I get the more improvements I can release as updates (if needed).
